le temps, das neue Solo-Programm von Katharina Ernst, ist eine feine und präzise Beschäftigung mit einem Setup das völlig ohne Zuspiel und Elektronik auskommt.

Das explizite Schlagen der Instrumente ist hier nur eines von vielen rhythmusgebenden Elementen neben Wischen, Öffnen,
Schließen, Klingeln, Streichen und Atmen. Klassische Spielarten am Drumset werden durch den Einsatz von Schlägern und Instrumenten aus der traditionellen koreanischen Musik, dem Samulnori, erweitert. Hochfrequente Alltagsobjekte wie Fahrradklingeln und ein Badewannenstöpsel
ergänzen das detaillierte Klangbild.

Einfache und konzentrierte kompositorische Formen wie beispielsweise die graduelle Öffnung eines Klangraums über längere Zeit, die zyklische Darstellung von Wellen, oder der bewusste Einsatz akustischer Schocks gehen einer sich daraus entfaltenden komplexen polymetrischen Struktur voran, die sich im letzten Teil des Programms als Konsequenz der vorangegangenen Fokussierung zeigt: als ein Auffächern von Komplexität, als mehrdimensionaler Raum.
